Russell and Carol Monson have a shared love of photography. They are rarely without a camera each whether travelling overseas, driving backroads around Australia, weekly trips to Melbourne or hiking and bushwalking.
At present they are studying photography at the Photography Studies College in Melbourne to stretch their creativity and regularly competing in competitions at the Warragul Camera Club. Increasingly they exhibit their work beyond Gippsland.
Their next major exhibition will be at the Red Tree Gallery in Jindivick. ‘Beyond the Bitumen’, held during November 2019, is a combination of photographs and textile works inspired by Russell’s and Carol’s outback travel
