Bunny Girl Keltie Mullin - 2017

$135

At first bunny girl was just a concept but over time her persona embraced me . With the added use of the gas mask,I was born into a new alter ego.I was now comfortable enough to express myself freely and anonomously. With whip in hand she admires the strength and beauty of each strand and imagines it touching her body, kissing her skin with a sting , leaving its beautiful unique pattern behind

devils dance keltie mullin digital print - 2017

$170

If you stand back and look at it you will notice this is a different take on the age old blade through a heart tattoo design using figures as its representation.

monotreme dream - 2017 (SOLD)

A little outside my usual style. Anyone who knows me knows I adore the humble aussie Platypus. I wish I could curl up on a bed of lovely Grevillia with a lovely platypus for a snooze and a sweet dream.

Platypus Pair in a circle - 2017

$250

I just had it in mind that I wanted to paint a pair of Platypuses in a circle formation. When I mentioned this to a wildlife carer she said they often sleep that way.Once I drew up the design for them they sort of reminded me of a yn Yang so I thought I would make them slightly opposing with one eyse open and the other closed

XXV111 Keltie Mullin - 2017

$135

I have always found something erotic about smoking and the way that the smoke leaves your lips and mouth. Something so simple can be so beautiful yet so gross at the same time. Smoking has always been a way for me to express myself in photos as it plays a lot of the angles I can get the smoke on as well as my eyes.

Along her vain parade, Keltie Mullin digital print -

$550

Along her vain parade represents the conflict that is being a sensual human, the decisions we make the consequences and the stage we play it out on be it in our minds or in the real world.I often draw inspiration from music in my art. This is my first piece for 2017 and is predominantly a visualisation of the lyrics to an early 90’s grunge song that permeated me at an impressionable age. I wanted to take my work into a more surreal direction while maintaining realuistic female forms which are predominant in my works

Corella Cuddle - 2017

$500

I have been very fortunate to be visited by several flocks of corellas which were hanging on trees which had branches hanging over our yard. I spent a long time amazed by their cheeky antics and loud squarks. They really are lovely little creatures.

Jelly Baby - 2017

$400

I am both terrified and fascinated by our oceans and what goes on underneath the water. There is so much beauty within our marine life yet some of it is dangerous and scary.Jellyfish are a great example of this. They have an unparalleled beauty yet a tiny sting form one could Kill us.This piece is meant to be nothing more than pretty yet I love the idea that in our imaginations we can interact with all creatures.

Numquam Magis Keltie Mullin Digital print - 2017

$170

I had a vision of a woman protected by crows.Numquam magis is latin and translates to English as Nevermore

V11 Keltie Mullin - 2017

$135

This photo was a real challenge for me. How does someone show that ” teasing to please” side. The fewather helped loads as it tickled and brought the giggles out of me. This is who I am. A dark and somewhat shy exhibitionist who loves to tease.

X photo book - 2017

XL111 - 2017

$135

The exhibitionist… I am comfortable with my imperfections as I am hung before your eyes. Along with my sisters displayed beside me I will stand proud and tall, My routine requires no audience to satisfy my kink is in the act of wearing lovely clothes, stockings and shoes. Especially the look and feel of lingerie.

XXXV1 - 2017

$135

The moon does not fight. It attacks no-one. It does not worry, It does not try to crush others, it keeps to its own course, but by its very nature it gently influences. What other body could pull an entire ocean from shore to shore. The moon is faithful to its nature and its power is never diminished.

Batmobile - 2017

$300

I have developed a re invigorated love for flying foxes after painting my first Bat piece for my exhibition last year.I have met some amazing carers of our native bats who all related to that piece. Many of them commented that bats in art are often depicted as scary or gothic but look at their faces. They are incredibly cute and do a great job at eating annoying bugs

Crocodile Rock - 2017 (SOLD)

I have a love of reptiles and have since I was a small child.I think they have the most adorable faces and stunning patterns on their scales and skin. While visiting the Northern Territory I was lucky enough to travel on the Adelaide River to see the “jumping Crocodiles”They were AMAZING. They are so strong and of course our Aussie crocs are an incredible resilient species.I have a huge respect for them and wanted to paint them. While thinking about how to portray them the song Crocodile Rock came into my head and I just decided to go with it.

MCX1 - 2017

$135

Collaborating with a good friend of mine and talented artist to bring these ideas to life has been such a refreshing experience. To not only tap into a creative side of me that has been on hiatus for a long time but to work alongside an artist and other women who share my love for the dark, erotic and often uncomfortable art, but art that is influenced by feminist ideals. This work is about it being ok to step outside societys view of normal, moral and traditionalist values. Its about women having full consent of their bodies and deciding every step of the way what they want. We removed te sphere of objectification which we are so at ease with in society and let the women in the piece choose their chains, their ties their masks. If this makes you uncomfortable then we have done our job.

ocean Girl - 2017

Australia has some of the most incredible marine life. Our oceans are full of stunning colours adorning creatures great and small.I wanted to experiment further with big wavy hair and my vibrant colours and this was the result.

Unequivocally X

“Unequivocally” adverb in a way that leaves no doubt… Without a doubt this project has been both demanding and very much out of my comfort zone as an artist. After being approached late 2016 with the now infamous line of “Make me into a piece of your art”, I sat back and thought about how I could actually deliver that as an artist. 2017 saw me looking for inspiration for an upcoming exhibition set for September the same year. I wanted to push myself as an artist, then I remembered that line from 2016, “make me into a piece of your art.” All well and good as an idea, but easier said than done. And where to even start…? If this idea was ever going to be more than just a concept I had to look outside of my usual 3D digital medium. After some internal debating I picked photography as an option. Problem number one… I’m not a photographer! So I borrowed a camera and a few lenses; problem solved right? Except for the fact I’ve never taken photos before in any kind of professional sense. I’d better go on a learning curve. Problem number two… If I’m going to make art from photography, how do I encompass the essence of my work, which is typically a little left of centre, on the dark side, and often contains erotic elements? Erotic photography became an obvious choice, but with that came an issue of morality. Being male and photographing women in an erotic sense can easily cross socially acceptable boundaries and I pride myself on the fact my work makes people think and even uncomfortable at times. Erotic photography of strong, independent women, shot by a male; if nothing else, it would make people think. And that right there was the defining moment to move forward. About this time two friends of mine stepped forward offering to model, bringing the project to life. We brainstormed ideas and from there it evolved into this current exhibition and accompanying book. In total, four women came forward. My job was to photograph them, theirs was to express themselves in a closed environment without judgement. The book and accompanying exhibition of photography is a culmination of around 8 months of hard work, from both myself and the women who bravely raised their hands, and stepped out of their own comfort zones to make this project a reality. The images are erotic, sensual, dark, empowering, and tell a story not of my own making, but rather of the women in front of the camera
