Drouin artist Robyn Rinehart is having her sixth solo exhibition at Laurie Collins’ Red Tree Gallery, beginning on the 28th of August, and running for the month of September.
Robyn has lived and worked as an artist in the Baw Baw shire since 1983, and has had a previous show at Laurie’s five years ago.
She paints mostly animals, birds and flowers, but has moved into abstract art recently, so there will be a variety of subjects and styles.
She has a great love of ‘mark making’ and quirky lines, and believes every part of a painting should be interesting and created with care.
She has four beautiful borzoi dogs, and many of her paintings of them are shipped off to breed loving clients overseas. There will also be a display of unframed borzoi works at the show.
As her show has been decided on only recently, some work will be unframed, and her prices will reflect that. Buyers can take works away on the day to save returning for them a month later.
